The Watch Now option was never offered to Mac users to begin with...stop the hate against Mac users. I believe I should have paid a lesser fee than the PC users who had the option.

What is the logic behind shipping a movie from Arizond, when I live in Illinois. Just send the next movie on my list out of Illinois, so I wait one business day instead of five. Blockbuster sounds like a better deal, more and more. They actually have the new releases in stock too!

@ Micheal, I do have a question now. You say on the board it is not something you will necessarily plan to stay on top of reading everything all the time. It seemed liked that would be a good location to post community features suggestions that we would like to get to your team. Since the blog doesn't always have a "wish list" thread running. That is what I posted. A suggestion, in the future instead of off-topic blog posts is that a location we can get things to you? or would it be a safer bet to post here? Michael you do so much, Thanks for all you efforts. What would we do w/o you? LOL

Thanks Gordo, that's about right. Still, i usually check who has requested registration a few times a day, and let everyone in. I just did that a few minutes ago, and Phatz, no one is in the lineup... try again, I looked through the records and don't see you in there at all. To Everyone: if you haven't been granted board access, try again - like i said, no one has been declined, and there is no one currently awaiting.

Re the message board, some interesting stuff, although it's sometimes a little hard to keep track of who said what when, and what one's already read, since neither the chronology nor the color change (blue to red after being clicked on) are quite consistent. But I can see that it's a great way for people to have a sidebar about a particular subject without involving everyone else, as occasionally happens here. With a more sophisticated format and a little unintrusive oversight I really think it would be a great addition to the wonderful ongoing Netflix vs. member and member vs. member debate.

Sorry for posting here... tried to get message board to work and it didn't recognize password.

First of all, still looking forward to the return of the releasing this week page. The RSS page is good but a little time consuming to cycle through.

Anyway, just thought I'd throw out a quick suggestion on a different topic:

In regards to queue priority... is there (or could there be) a way to let Netflix know that just because something is at the top of my queue doesn't mean that I need sent to me from across the country? I appreciate the effort to get the top of the queue sent to me, but I would actually prefer that Netflix would send the next available DVD that is "available" in my own area. Everything on my queue is something that I want to see... and waiting just doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother other people. I would like to have the option of not having to wait four to five days for a DVD to arrive.

Anyway, just a suggestion... keep up the good work!

I noticed that there is a link to our customer identification number at the bottom of the Netflix pages.

That's the same number that the Help page gives you when you want to call customer service, so they know that it's really you (replacing a request for the credit card # you signed up with, as before). But it cycles regularly, so I doubt that it would be of much help as a reliable ID for the tech team.

Not sure if this has been there for awhile and I just didn't notice it, or if it's relatively new.

Can this number be used to supply you with ID when issues come about? It doesn't appear to be the same number but I would think you could ID us by this, and it looks a bit easier to retrieve than the prid number.

I just posted two feature requests to the message board:

1) the ability to see the helpfulness of one's own reviews

2) the ability to sort one's queue multiple ways, or a least more info displayed directly on the queue so that manual sorting is easier

I hope you'll check out my messages to see a further explanation of these ideas. If they get implemented, it will help make up for me not being able to instantly watch movies on my mac :D
