Even if there is some new logic in how Netflix goes about creating what is shown on the new page, deciding to replace a list view with big floating icons is the real kick in the teeth. You'd think that they'd actually show what's a new release. Movies that are from 2006 is not a new release. Spiderman 3 is one I would considered to be a "new release". "War" has been out for a week or two now but it's still a "very long wait". Can you buy more copies of it? Anime series are commonly released one disc every few months, and newly released discs don't show up anywhere except on the title's page. BB doesn't seem to have any plan higher than 3-out. And if you want to trade them in-store (as anon claims to now do) you definitely do not get it cheaper than Netflix (BB wants $20 for 3-out+5 exchanges/mo).<BR/><BR/>Then there's the problem with the CS. Why call the CS to cancel your account with Netflix, when you can do it painfree and easily online? There's a link that says "Cancel Membership" under "Your Account", and it's quite simple to use.<BR/><BR/>And there's no way I can believe that Netflix would bill someone after their membership had been cancelled. So that story does not hold much water... Only closing our accounts and moving to Blockbuster for our rentals will teach Netflix. The petition is useless, money is the only thing these people understand. I moved to Blockbuster this month and have gotten a cheaper membership with the same amount of movies. I also had terrible experiences with the customer service. I even had one use profanity when I was trying to close my account. I had to goto the bank last week to fill out paperwork since Netflix went ahead and billed me after I demanded my account closed. I think Netflix has hired some new people high up, these people are changing alot and its all for the worse. I am so happy I went back to Blockbuster, I even get to swap movies in the store! <BR/><BR/>Great advice Sol!
