Brief Friends Interruption Tonight

Sorry for the inconvenience. Swapping in some new code. (Don't get all excited, just some internal geeky stuff to streamline). Your Friends should already be back, or back shortly.

  1. Friends slider now working in Mac Safari. Great work Netflix. Keep it up. A company that not only listens to its customers, but one that acts on what its customers want.

  2. The friends slider is still blank for Windows XP & Firefox.

  3. You might need to be more specific with that, I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.4 on Windows XP Professional and it works fine.

  4. I'm also on Windows XP Pro and Firefox 2.0.0.4 and it is not working.

The slider is not blank for me, only my friends I have attached.

  5. It's interesting that the Friends sliders are working for anonymous #1, because they're still blank for Safari 2.0.4 on Mac OS X version 10.4.10.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, it appears some of you Mac users will have spotty Friends sliders today (Wed) too. We've found the problem and it is working its way through the system. Thought we had everyone fixed, but your input showed us a couple holes. We'll have it cleaned up later tonight.

  7. My friends page show only movies my friends have rented. All the extra movies they've rated are no longer visible. Is this going to be fixed or has it been discontinued. I enjoyed this feature very much. I have Firefox.

  8. I see the same on my friends page as the post above me. Only rented movies are showing. All the other movies have vanished. Using Windows XP.

  9. Ah, I was going to ask about non-Netflixed rated movies as well, and if the criteria had changed for what's in the sliders.

Mostly, I'm just glad there's anything in the sliders again. Just as you said, they started showing up again for Mac/Safari last night. Thanks!
